Blogging for Recipes

So Steve and I have decided that we "go grab a bite" too much. I'm making a shopping list and I need some new fun, easy recipes. This is about as long as this post is going to be because I'm in the student library computer lab and there's a guy whispering into this woman's ear very creepy-like and I'm very distracted. Side note: it's not cute and she looks very annoyed. Please sir, stop distracting us both! Oh yeah, SPRING BREAK IS ALMOST A WEEK AWAY!

Meg- 3 things

ONE- my oldest sister just adopted TWINS not triplets from Utah. ADORABLE! I love them.
TWO- Dane LOVES when I make chicken fajitas. I marinate the chicken in a bag with italian dressing and limes. Then I cook it on a pan and I cook a WHOLE bunch of veggies in a pan also seasoned in italian dressing. It's VERY good. I only use a little chicken, lots of veggies, so it's pretty healthy, hearty, way easy, and just wonderful Meg. Try it maybe.
THREE- with your luck, the whispery man next to you probablly somehow read what you wrote...and is probably very offended. You tend to offend the creepys quite easily...Meeley ring a bell?

and a FOURTH- I love you!

Ha! You are so funny. Ya Molly's hair is ugly. We are coming out June 18-23! so excited! I like to make "chicken packets" where I get a big piece of aluminum foil and put a chicken breast with a bunch of veggies and pesto sauce and a little olive oil, wrap it up and stick it in the oven for 20 mins. Or if you like fish, I do the same for salmon and instead of pesto I use a lot of cilantro. Easy and yummy!

Hey- here are a couple of food blogs that we like: http://lookwhatscookingtoday.blogspot.com/ and http://myfriendsandfood.blogspot.com/

and then we have a breville panini press that we use all the time- for sandwiches, chicken, fish, even french toast. It is a fast and easy to use.

and here is one more, we have been using our crock pot a lot lately, put like 3-4 chicken breasts in with some butter and a packet of italian seasoning, turn it on low, and the chicken is so tender it falls apart. you can eat it like that or add 1 package of cream cheese, one can cream of mushroom, and one can of chicken stock, (maybe not super healthy- but delicious) then eat it on rice or pasta. or put in the chicken breasts and cover them with your favorite salsa and cook on low, and then you have yummy chicken for tacos, burritos, nachos...
we need to hang out with you guys again sometime soon!
